Certified Genesis / Hyundai / Kia Technician Modern Genesis of Lake Norman | Cornelius, NC Modern Genesis of Lake Norman is looking for a Certified Genesis, Hyundai, or Kia Technician to join our service team. We are specifically seeking a technician who already holds manufacturer certifications and has the experience and technical knowledge to handle diagnostics, repairs, and factory procedures at a high level. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who has invested in manufacturer training and wants to continue building their career with a dealership that values skilled technicians. You will work closely with our service advisors, service management, and other technicians to accurately diagnose concerns, complete repairs efficiently, and maintain a high standard of quality. Responsibilities • Diagnose and repair Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia vehicles • Perform advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics • Complete manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs • Perform warranty and recall repairs according to factory procedures • Utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical resources • Properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs • Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards • Stay current on new vehicle technology and manufacturer procedures • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment • Work as part of a team to provide a high-quality customer experience Requirements • Current Genesis, Hyundai, and/or Kia manufacturer certification required • Previous automotive dealership experience • Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities • Experience working with manufacturer-specific diagnostic systems • Ability to accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record • Own professional technician tools • Strong work ethic and attention to detail • Dependable and team-oriented If you are a certified Genesis, Hyundai, or Kia technician looking for approximately $30-35/hr, strong benefits, and up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus, we want to talk with you.
