Responsibility: • Interview new candidates as needed for Regional Sales team • Guide, train and coach each rep in region to achieve yearly budget • Conduct performance reviews with each rep in region • Develop and manage Regional GPO’s/IDN customers • Grow sales profitably and achieve Sales budget overall within the assigned geographic region • Collaborate with GBO distribution and health systems manager • Maintain Sales database information related to assigned geography • Manage Regional expenses • Participate in other required sales activities as required Authority: • Selection of Field Sales employees • Recommend Distributors • Customer interface – National Accounts • Field Sales Training • Expense Approval • Special pricing recommendation Job Requirements: • College degree • 5 years sales management experience • Sale of medical products • Distribution sales experience a plus • Minimum of 65% travel • Excellent computer skills • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skill • Experience using strategic selling process a plus • Strong relationship building across functional channels • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with no suspensions or major infractions over the previous five years. An annual MVR will be required on all company authorized drivers • Possess and provide documentation that personal motor vehicle insurance coverage is maintained at company specified limits Physical Requirements: • Regularly required to stand, sit, reach, bend and move about a facility • Some light physical effort required • Ability to physically travel to customer sites with various schedules and possibly different time zones.
