Full time OB Registered Nurse providing compassionate care to mothers and newborns in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings at a small community hospital near Pecos County and Odessa, Texas. The role offers day and night 12-hour shifts, biweekly overtime, and competitive pay up to $48/hr. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including fetal heart rate monitoring and assessments • Assist physicians and providers during deliveries and procedures • Educate patients and families on prenatal, postpartum, and newborn care • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders • Maintain accurate charting and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team • Promote a safe, patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes Qualifications: • Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) • BLS certification required • Strong communication skills • Team-focused mindset Preferred Skills: • NRP or Fetal Monitoring certification preferred • One year of Labor & Delivery experience preferred
