This role provides flexible PRN coverage for an Emergency Room at a rural Critical Access Hospital near Beardstown, Illinois, offering up to $55 per hour. Key Responsibilities: • Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with a variety of emergency medical conditions. • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy according to physician orders. • Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in status. • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. • Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with facility policies. • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions. • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a rural healthcare environment. Qualifications: • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact License (if applicable). • Current BLS Certification. • Current ACLS Certification. • Experience with emergency stabilization, triage, trauma, cardiac, and medical-surgical patients.
