This full-time RN position supports both Med/Surg and ED in a community-based facility near Topeka. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to patients in Med/Surg and ED • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments • Monitor vital signs, labs, diagnostics, and patient responses • Recognize changes and respond to urgent or emergent situations • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation • Follow infection-control, patient safety, and quality-care standards • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the patient experience Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited RN program • Active Kansas RN license or NLC multistate license • BLS certification required • ACLS certification required or preferred • PALS, TNCC, or other emergency nursing certifications highly valued • Previous Med/Surg, Emergency, Acute Care, or Critical Access Hospital experience strongly preferred • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills • Ability to work effectively and confidently in urgent and rapidly changing clinical situations • Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills Preferred Skills: • ACLS certification preferred
