Role: NPD Specialist Location Gurugram Key Responsibilities 1. Product Development & Innovation  Develop and launch new bakery products including breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, desserts, and viennoiserie.  Create innovative recipes aligned with evolving market trends and customer preferences.  Enhance existing products to improve taste, texture, shelf life, and cost efficiency.  Benchmark products against competitors to ensure best-in-class quality and differentiation. 2. Quality, Compliance & Food Safety  Ensure adherence to food safety standards, HACCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.  Maintain product consistency, shelf-life stability, and defined quality benchmarks.  Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team for product testing, validation, and approvals. Key Skills & Competencies  Strong knowledge of bakery science and ingredient functionality.  Expertise in fermentation processes, dough behavior, and baking techniques.  Creativity in flavor development, product innovation, and presentation.  Understanding of large-scale/commercial bakery production processes.  Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards.  Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Qualifications  Diploma/Degree in Bakery & Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or Food Technology. Experience  5–8 years of relevant experience in bakery product development or R&D.  Prior experience in a commercial bakery or food manufacturing setup is preferred.
