Job Requirements At Quest Global, it’s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different. With over 25 years as an engineering services provider, we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible. Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place—to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future. We bring together technologies and industries, alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture, to solve problems better and faster. We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day. Questians are driven by hunger, humility, and aspiration. We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach. Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work, ensuring that all voices are heard. Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Design Engineer to join the Turbine Production Engineering (TPE) team to support legacy product transformation, manufacturing-driven design improvements, standardization initiatives, and digital engineering activities across turbomachinery products. Key Responsibilities: • Support legacy drawing conversion, model creation, and product definition modernization activities for turbomachinery products. • Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation using Creo and Windchill PLM. • Review legacy designs and identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, manufacturability improvements, and cost reduction. • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Service, and Design Engineering teams to resolve design and production challenges. • Analyze component designs and assemblies to ensure fit, form, function, reliability, and manufacturability. • Provide recommendations on GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis based on assembly requirements. • Drive productivity improvements, engineering automation, process simplification, and digital transformation initiatives. • Independently work with global stakeholders and support technical discussions with US-based engineering and manufacturing teams. We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect, where everyone belongs, is valued, and feels inspired to share their ideas. We know embracing our unique differences makes us better, and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas, perspectives, and backgrounds. We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21,000 difference-makers in our workplace. Work Experience • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. • 6+ years of experience in Mechanical Design, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related fields (6 to 8 years overall experience). • Strong proficiency in Creo Parametric for part, assembly, and drawing creation. • Hands-on experience with Windchill PLM and engineering release processes. • Good understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and engineering drawing interpretation. • Experience performing Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis and resolving assembly-related issues. • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, welding, casting, forging, sheet metal, and assembly operations. • Good understanding of product assembly, disassembly, serviceability, and manufacturing constraints. • Experience supporting Engineering Change Management processes (ECR/ECN). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to independently handle customer interactions and technical discussions. Desired Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong design and manufacturing fundamentals who can bridge the gap between legacy product definitions and modern engineering practices, drive standardization and transformation initiatives, collaborate effectively with global stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement across turbomachinery products. Note: Selected candidate work location will be Bangalore First of 3-month at Chennai
