About the Role Available Shifts: Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm AND Monday-Thursday 2pm-12am As a Utility Technician, you will promote workplace efficiency and profitability by assisting with the maintenance, inspection and repair of facility, equipment and machinery. What You’ll Do • Maintain and repair equipment and machinery • Monitor equipment and machinery, stocking, changing and filling as needed • Complete daily cleaning checklist for all equipment and machinery • Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot equipment and machinery • Monitor baler status and create bales, as needed • Assist with clearing jams on conveyor lines with use of power equipment • Operate power equipment to unload, move and load product and bales • Operate and maintain battery changer and water for batteries • Remove trash and recycling materials • Paint, change light bulbs and work on the processing floor, as needed • Fill part requests for Maintenance Technicians • Assist on repairs, preventative maintenance and completion of minor projects • Replace rollers and clean labels in all areas including but not limited to P&A machines, guide rails and floors What Skills You Have Required • Basic mechanical aptitude
