Beloit Health System has Immediate Opportunities for Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistants to join NorthPointe Terrace. • Shift: 1st & 2nd available • Schedule: 7:30a.- 3:30p & 2p - 10:30p • Hours per week: 24 - 28 • Benefits Status: Benefits Eligible • Department: NorthPointe Terrace Personal Care Attendants/Certified Nursing Assistant will assist residents who are functionally, physically, and or socially impaired and need assistance with supportive, nursing, and personal care. The PCA/CNA is responsible to assist tenants with those activities of daily living that they are unable to perform without help, fostering at all times residents' independence and freedom of choice. • Assures the provision of high-quality services needed and/or desired by tenants and their families. • Attains and/or maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, state, federal, regulatory, and/or accrediting body standards. • Maintains high level of involvement/participation in all tenant activities. Provides Activity Coordinator and Director with ongoing feedback/suggestions regarding the activity program. • Assists residents to self-administer medications under supervision of Registered Nurse and after completion of approved medication course. • Provides assistance with activities of daily living for tenants • Provides assistance with instrumental activities of daily living • Conducts room checks and tenant rounds/checks and monitors for environmental and safety hazards. • Records incidents, errors, and accidents. Reports such occurrences to Director within 1 hour. • Escorts tenants to dining room, sets up and cleans tables, serves meals, eat meals with tenants during mealtimes. May also be Job Requirements: • Completion of accredited CNA program • Must have Current IL CNA certification • Must have a valid driver's license • CPR Certification within 3 months • Must complete the required medication training course • Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality at all times. • Works collaboratively with peers and all team members. • Follows up promptly and thoroughly with appropriate staff, tenants, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns. • Reporting Relationship: Manager and Director - NorthPointe Terrace Apply to join our team today!
