Incumbents are responsible for setup and takedown of volleyball equipment, and overall management and oversight of the facility, activity, participants, and spectators. This position requires ability to work independently and demonstrate strong, positive leadership skills. Volleyball knowledge is helpful, but not required. Current vacancies are for Volleyball Gym Supervisors, working Friday evenings typically from 5:30pm- 9:15pm (approximately 4 hours per week). Volleyball Gym Supervisor positions are currently available at the following locations: North Pines Middle School and Northwoods Middle School. Location assignments are based on volleyball program registration numbers, incumbents' residential proximity, and department need. Job Description: Examples of Duties: • Set-up/take-down of volleyball equipment. • Greeting and directing participants to assigned court. • Ensuring games remain on schedule. • Recording scores after each game concludes. • Enforcing all County and school district rules. • Performs other related functions as directed. Minimum Requirements: TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Must be at least 18 years old. Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations is beneficial, but not required. BACKGROUND CHECK: All positions require successful clearance of a Washington State Patrol inquiry under the Child and Adult Abuse Information Act.
