What you bring to SBHG: Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • One (1) year unit clerk or clerical experience and medical record experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting. • Valid California Driver’s License, required. How you will make a difference: The Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate and organized client records, including creating and managing client binders, ensuring proper labeling, and keeping documentation complete and compliant with regulatory requirements. This role supports admissions, referrals, and transfers, tracks required screenings and assessments, photographs new admissions for placement in medical records, and maintains daily census reports and shift reports. Additional responsibilities include scanning and auditing documents within the electronic medical record (EMR), updating county referral logs, ordering clinical and office supplies, answering phones, taking messages, and providing administrative support to nursing and clinical teams to ensure efficient program operations.
