What You'll Do • Plan, coordinate, and participate in social, recreational, and community activities. • Provide hands-on care, support, instruction, and guidance in program and community settings. • Support individuals in making choices and directing the course of their own lives. • Promote self-advocacy, confidence, independence, and meaningful community participation. • Support the emotional, physical, and personal well-being of the people we serve. • Assist with daily routines, tasks, and activities. • Help individuals develop essential life skills such as money management, shopping, household tasks, and other skills that promote independence. • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance as needed. • Build positive, respectful relationships and encourage individuals to participate fully in their communities. What You'll Need • High school diploma or equivalent. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Valid New York State driver's license. • Compassionate, dependable, and person-centered approach. • Genuine interest in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
