Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – Travel Domain Location: LTM PAN India Location Experience: 7+ years (flexible based on expertise) Job Summary We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong experience in the travel domain, specifically within travel agencies, to bridge business requirements and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to GDS platforms (Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport), end-to-end travel operations, and strong technical understanding of data and integrations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements • Analyze and document travel business processes including Reservations, Ticketing, EMD, Exchanges & Refunds • Work extensively with GDS systems (Sabre/Amadeus/Travelport) for booking, pricing, shopping, fare quotes, and ticketing workflows • Support NDC integrations and API mapping, including analysis of JSON and XML payloads • Perform data analysis using SQL and other data tools to support business decisions • Create clear documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and use cases • Collaborate with development and QA teams through the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) • Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements in dynamic, high-volume environments • Support stakeholders with data visualization, reporting, and insights Required Skills & Experience • Strong travel domain experience, preferably with travel agencies • Hands-on expertise in GDS systems: Sabre, Amadeus, and/or Travelport • Solid understanding of: • Reservations & Ticketing • EMD, Exchanges & Refunds • Pricing, Shopping, Fare Quotes • NDC concepts and implementations • Experience with API mapping and integrations • Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and travel-related datasets • Working knowledge of JSON and XML data formats • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Good to Have • Experience with data visualization tools • Exposure to travel-specific platforms and booking engines • Prior experience working in agile or fast-paced delivery environments Key Competencies • Business & process analysis • System thinking and attention to detail • Stakeholder collaboration • Adaptability in dynamic environments
