Dieterich Bank is looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team at our Corporate Center in Effingham, IL. Credit Analysts are responsible for analyzing and monitoring creditworthiness of existing and potential customers. A main aspect of this position is performing underwriting and analysis for prospective or existing commercial borrowers whose exposure is typically in excess of $1,000,000. The Credit Analyst determines the level of risk and assists the loan officers and Directors' Loan Committee in deciding if a loan or line of credit will be granted. This position's primary duty consists of the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with matters of significance in reference to credit and lending. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field • 3-5 years of experience working in a position similar to that of a credit analyst • Great analyzing, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills • Ability to meet deadlines, have time management, and communicate effectively (both verbal and written) • Understanding and experience analyzing with financial statement and tax returns • Must demonstrate our core values of Integrity, Value, Service Excellence, & Teamwork. Work Schedule: This position will be based in an office setting at our Corporate Center in Effingham, IL and typically requires 40 hours each week with work typically being competed between 8 a.m. and 5p.m. Evenings and weekends may be necessary to fit customers' needs and/or complete work.
