Insurance is responsible for leading and managing the insurance business unit of Muthoot FinCorp Limited, including developing and executing the strategic vision, overseeing the operational performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership • Devise comprehensive strategies for the insurance vertical aligned with MFLs objectives. • Lead, mentor, and manage a team to achieve sales targets, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer needs and competitor activities. Expansion and Development • Lead the development and implementation of the national insurance strategy (Life & non-Life) and business plan. • Expand the insurance business by exploring new markets, products, and partnerships. • Collaborate with teams to innovate and develop insurance products that cater to customer needs. Stakeholder Management • Cultivate and maintain relationships with insurance partners, regulators, and other stakeholders. • Develop and deliver training and coaching programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the insurance staff. • Provide guidance and support to the regional heads and product managers on insurance-related matters. Performance Monitoring • Manage and oversee the performance of the insurance team across all regions and products. • Implement performance metrics, analyze data, and initiate corrective measures to optimize results. Compliance and Reporting • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of the insurance vertical. • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, mitigate risks, and maintain compliance within the insurance operations. Knowledge, Skills & Attributes • Insurance -Life / GI Sales with an acumen to learn and adapt other Insurance product categories as well. • Fluency in English and other language is added advantage • Sales as well as in-depth product knowledge on Insurance (LI & GI) • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint • Role Requirements • Educational Qualification – B. Com & any Graduation • Experience – Minimum 2 to 3 Years of Sales Experience.
