As an Executive Director on Corporate Technology's Portfolio Management & Governance team, you will drive core elements of portfolio planning, investment governance, executive reporting, and process/tooling improvement across a large global technology portfolio. This is a hands-on individual contributor role: you will execute and own defined workstreams end-to-end, operate with strong autonomy, and influence stakeholders through clear, data-driven insights. You will help translate strategy into execution-ready plans and contribute to the teams broader transformation agenda—streamlining processes, improving data quality and tooling, strengthening controls and audit readiness, and personally building and operating AI-enabled solutions to increase efficiency and quality. Job Responsibilities • Portfolio planning & investment hygiene: Drive the annual planning cycles for Corporate Technology, in partnership with Finance & Business Management; own discrete planning workstreams as assigned; set standards, calendars, and guardrails; Drive consistency in intra-year planning approaches across CT. • Portfolio governance & oversight: Enhance the governance operating model for Corporate Technology's portfolio; ensure investment decisions align with strategy and financial targets. Maintain intra-year controls for reprioritization, funding moves, and exception management. Provide transparency, actionability, and clear recommendations to senior stakeholders; escalate risks, issues, and roadblocks early. • Executive insights & reporting : Produce executive-ready insights on budget vs. actuals vs. forecast, delivery health, value realization , and risk posture; Establish consistent metrics and dashboards; ensure parity across self-serve APIs and curated views. • Process excellence, tooling & AI enablement: Identify and implement targeted improvements across the portfolio lifecycle: intake → prioritization → approval → tracking → value realization; Partner with product/engineering teams and platform owners to improve tooling adoption, data quality, and automation; Apply AI-enabled approaches to increase efficiency and quality • Risk, controls & audit readiness: Embed strong controls in portfolio processes; maintain audit-ready evidence, lineage, and documentation. Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration • Stakeholder management & influence: Partner with Engineering, Product, Finance, and Business Management to align on priorities, dependencies, and outcomes. Coordinate with enterprise investment governance and line-of-business stakeholders to ensure consistency and compliance. • Sets enterprise strategy for reuse-first adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning, risk synthesis, and executive reporting, with human-in-the-loop validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data. • Defines and enforces enterprise guardrails for AI-assisted and agentic workflows used in program governance and delivery routines, including control boundaries, traceability/auditability, and review/approval expectations aligned to resiliency and security standards. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations • Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions, vendor product knowledge, managing vendor relations, and implementing solutions • Advanced analytical reasoning skills, applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, and operational objectives • Proven ability in leading through change, managing dependencies, and controlling change in high-pressure, shifting environments • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, establishing productive relationships, and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives • Ability to lead complex technology project and program execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks • Partner with key stakeholders to guide selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, platforms and software tools leveraging advanced technical fluency • Deliver continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities, incorporating best practices, and staying abreast of emerging technologies • Demonstrated experience leading safe adoption of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment at firm scale, including validation practices, data sensitivity considerations, and measurable delivery outcomes. • Ability to establish governance and decision frameworks for AI-assisted and agentic workflows, including human approval checkpoints and auditability aligned to resiliency, security, and operational risk expectations.
