## Standard Job Description Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Consults manufacturers manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement. May require FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license. ## Basic Qualifications * Fighter Aircraft Maintenance Experience (F-35, F-22,F-15, F-16, or F-18) * Leadership Experience * Flight Line and Intermediate Maintenance Experience * Experience in Modification and Test of Aircraft and Associated systems * Experience with Aircraft Ground Operations Procedures and Aviation Saftey * Secret Security Clearance ## Desired Skills * • F-35 aircraft maintenance experience preferred • Quality Assurance experience • DCMAINST 8210.1 experience • Experience managing in a Union environment • Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience • Flight Test Experience * Earned Value Management experience Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $123400.00 - $229200.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
