We are looking for an Assembler to join our team! Hours: A Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Your Impact: * Sets up and operates assembly equipment such as small hydraulic presses, staking, small drill presses, welding machines, air drivers, spin riveters, and winders. * Rotates in other work cells as instructed by Supervisor or Cell Leader. * Packs finished product for shipment. * Maintains work area to ensure a safe and clean work environment. * Actively participates in making and implementing cell improvements. * Performs duties in accordance with established quality standards. Qualifications: Skills & Experience The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: * Must have proficient English reading and writing skills and be able to read and comprehend MSDS sheets and standard work instructions. High School Diploma/GED is preferred. * Minimum 1 year experience in an assembly or lean manufacturing environment. * Manual dexterity and mechanical proficiency. * Ability to use various hand and power tools and equipment to read measuring devices. Physical Requirements: Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs. of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Bending body downward and forward at the waist. Standing for sustained periods of time.
