• Typically requires a Bachelors, Masters or PhD in engineering or a related technical field as well as six or more years of progressively complex engineering experience. • Demonstrates technical expertise in the application of engineering test and measurement principles, concepts, theory, and practice as well as project management and leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones. • Experience with the following is preferred, LabVIEW, Databases, or flight test instrumentation systems such as KAM-500 or Safran XMA. • Must possess the ability to resolve management and technical problems. Strong communication, leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required to enable an effective interface with other departments, all levels of management, professional and support staff, customers, potential customers, and government representatives. • Customer focused, must be able to work on a self-initiated basis and in a team environment, and able to work extended hours and travel as required. • Experience using laboratory equipment (e.g., power supply, data acquisition, oscilloscope, and electronic load). • Experience mentoring and developing engineers and other technical personnel through technical instruction, internships, on-the-job coaching, or similar activities. • Passion for continuous learning and improving engineering processes, products, and team capabilities. • Experience troubleshooting test systems. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance is required; an active Secret clearance is preferred.
