• Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of a bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or a related technical field and two or more years of related experience. • Additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education. • Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of environmental engineering principles, concepts, theories, regulations and practices and have extensive skills including organizing, planning, scheduling and coordinating workloads to meet established deadline or milestones. Must possess: • The ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems. • Strong verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and present findings. • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, senior management and outside representatives. • Strong computer skills. • The ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required. • The ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required.
