We're seeking highly skilled and experienced CNC Machine Operators/Machinists to join our dynamic team in Aiken, South Carolina. As a CNC Machine Operator V, you'll play a critical role in driving excellence in manufacturing, leveraging your expertise to produce high-quality parts while meeting key performance metrics. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy precision work, advanced manufacturing technology, and solving technical machining challenges. Key duties include: • Understanding and interpreting blueprints, work instructions and job routers to determine machining requirements. • Understanding Programming: G-code, M-code, or proprietary software, and working with engineering to modify programs to optimize efficiency and quality. • Understanding machine control settings: Feed, speed, depth of cut, and applying proper work-holding techniques. • Monitoring production for discrepancies, tool wear, dimensional accuracy, adjusting tooling and work offsets as needed. • Inspecting finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure compliance with specifications. • Must be able to train team members in best practices for manual and cnc machines. • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols. • Participates in set up reduction/process improvement teams to increase process efficiencies Responsibilities: • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and to interact/coordinate activities with others. • Experience with Mazak, Makino, or Haas cnc milling machines is Preferred.
