BAE Systems is seeking candidates for Summer 2027 internships supporting all aspects of the engineering development and manufacturing lifecycle. Opportunities exist supporting a variety of efforts in engineering development, integration, test and transition to production efforts on complex electronic and mechanical systems. Roles and Responsibilities may include: • Provide engineering support to the design, development and selection of basic hardware or software components utilizing fundamental engineering principles, theories and techniques. • Obtain working knowledge of company tools. Perform analyses and compile data for investigation by senior engineering personnel. • Assist in the design, fabrication or testing of prototype hardware or software. Document results for review by senior engineering personnel. • Support assemblers, technicians and inspectors for manufacturing issues on new and existing products. • Participate in and document corrective action requests using 9 Step problem solving methodology. • Other duties and responsibilities as required. In this position, you will participate in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program, where you will Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program.
