The Precision Guidance Sensing Solutions Product Line is seeking a uniquely qualified and motivated individual to provide Senior Principal Value Stream Specialist leadership in a growing factory supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. This individual will be responsible for helping THAAD ramp the assembly team, focused on implementing new training plans across all shifts, monitoring new employee integration, and supporting the THAAD Operations Leadership team through unprecedented growth. The position will be on 1st shift and will work cross functionally to achieve program objectives (including safety, cost, schedule, and quality) and organizing daily execution, working closely with the Product Stream Manager. Key Responsibilities: • Hiring, training, and supervising a staff of operators to build and test THAAD sub-assemblies across first shift. • Working with cross-functional representatives including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, equipment and facilities engineering, material management, and process engineering to execute WIP management to reduce repair turnaround time. • Interaction with internal and/or external customers with respect to factory status and facility tours. • Identifying opportunities for improvement and organizing resources to execute improvements. • Develop staffing plans for cross-training and shift coverage.
