Job Details: Job Location: Augusta Plant - Augusta, GA, Position Type: Full-Time, Education Level: High School Diploma / or Equivalent, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Installation - Maint - Repair, Prayon is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E/I) Technician to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and calibrating electrical, instrumentation, and control systems that support plant operations. What You'll Do Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. Test, calibrate, and repair process instrumentation and analyzers. Support motors, motor controls, VFDs, power distribution equipment, and PLC-based systems. Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, and technical documentation. Utilize SAP and other maintenance systems to document work activities. Participate in reliability improvements, equipment commissioning, and plant projects. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and safe work practices. Work collaboratively with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams. Qualifications: Required High School Diploma or GED. Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience in an E/I, Electromechanical, or similar technical role. Experience reading electrical schematics and technical drawings. Basic PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic knowledge. Preferred Technical degree, journeyman certification, or industrial certification. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, process instrumentation, and automation systems. Chemical, manufacturing, or food-grade industry experience. Schedule Must be willing to work a variety of schedules, including 12-hour rotating shifts, days, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime, and call-outs as required by business needs.
