Responsibilities:
* Oversee the design, construction, commissioning, and startup of bulk gas, specialty gas, and ultra-low temperature gas systems for a high-volume manufacturing facility
* Review engineering deliverables, including P&IDs, equipment specifications, layouts, and 3D models to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards
* Support construction execution through RFI review, submittal evaluation, field inspections, coordination meetings, and issue resolution
* Lead commissioning readiness, system testing, performance verification, and turnover activities while ensuring safe startup of gas systems
* Collaborate with design firms, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, compliant, and operationally ready systems
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field
* Experience in gas systems engineering, including specialty gas, bulk gas, and/or cryogenic gas systems with design review and field execution support
* Knowledge of applicable industry standards and codes, including SEMI, ASME, CGA, OSHA, and NFPA requirements
* Experience reviewing engineering documentation such as P&IDs, specifications, and 3D models, with strong project coordination and communication skills
* Experience driving safety, quality, and risk management within regulated or high-reliability industrial environments
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting gas system design and delivery for semiconductor, pharmaceutical, data center, or other high-purity manufacturing facilities
* Hands-on experience with commissioning, startup, equipment validation, and operational readiness activities for bulk, specialty, or cryogenic gas systems
* Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, or other monitoring and control systems used in gas operations
* Experience using BIM coordination tools such as Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD to support design integration and turnover documentation
* Professional Engineer (PE) license, gas systems-related certifications, or experience developing Agentic AI workflows to improve engineering and operational processes
