Job Details: Job Location: Legal Address - Columbus , OH, Salary Range: $16.00 - $18.00Hourly, Our Inventory Clerk has a unique task of collaborating with our purchasing, culinary and operations teams to receive all inventory and assets.  A successful candidate enjoys maintaining clean and orderly spaces every day and is flexible when it is time to move items to make room for more.  Storing and organizing incoming products while maintaining a clean environment and complying with company standards and health department regulations is the main focus of this role.  This is a seasonal position supporting our catering operations during our busiest periods. The expected duration of this role is October through December with the possibility of extension after our busy season. The schedule for this role is 20-30 hours per week.  The perfect candidate is excellent at organizing, time management, and working in a high-volume company.  We need you to care for every ingredient and asset that comes on property and be willing to learn more about any new items being received.   Our ideal candidate is someone who: Is well organized Is a self-starter Is approachable and balanced Is humble and puts the team first Always looks to improve communal areas Has accountability to results and takes initiative on projects   This is a Part Time position with 20 to 30 hours a week.  With Monday - Friday availability.  Friday morning availability is a requirement.    Responsibilities Receive vendor deliveries & confirm all product has been checked in at HLCH Rotate and store all product received using FIFO process for perishables.  Break down cardboard boxes at HLCH Complete monthly inventory counts for food, beverage & disposables on the last day of the month with the help of Purchasing Manager In conjunction with Culinary team, responsible for the cleanliness and organization of all food, beverage, chemical & disposable storage areas.  Includes re-stocking and breakdown of beverage coolers. Complete daily order guide sheets for food, beverage or disposables as directed by Purchasing Manager prior to the end of shift Responsible for proper rotation of raw food & produce, throwing away of food waste, and logging amounts on a tracking form May be asked to use company card to make food and beverage purchases, or store pick-ups, as directed by Purchasing Manager Responsible for re-stocking disposables and equipment from post-event drop zone   Qualifications: Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in food and beverage or warehouse receiving Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly, kneel, stoop and reach low and high places Able to stand for 8 hours at a time  Insurable driving record and possession of a valid driver’s license Has early morning schedule availability to match delivery schedule – Monday through Thursday, ~8AM to ~12PM.  ServSafe or Food Safe Handler knowledge preferred   What You'll Get: Employee catering discount on any of the Petro Hospitality brands 401(K) Savings Plan with Company Match   Why Choose Us?
