Magic Spoon reimagines your childhood breakfasts favorites with more protein, less sugar, and more fun. Since launching in 2019, we've brought our unbelievably tasty cereal to over one million customers online and over 20,000 stores nationwide. With our recently launched Protein Oatmeal and Protein Granola we're continuing to find new ways to make mornings magical - all made possible by our incredible team. We're seeking a Sr Associate, Manufacturing to join our Operations team. You will function as the first point of contact for all co-manufacturers and you'll play a significant role in supporting expansion across all manufacturing to ensure sufficient supply, identify risks and scoping redundancy. Note, this is a hybrid/in-person role based in NYC, though we are open to remote candidates. What you’ll do: • Lead end-to-end production planning with all co-manufacturers and manage relationships to ensure seamless execution and alignment on capacity, timelines, and operational priorities. • Oversee daily and weekly production performance, resolve delays or issues, and communicate risks and updates to cross-functional partners. • Own ERP production activities across co-mans, ensuring accurate receiving, inventory movements, and consumption tracking to maintain data integrity. • Coordinate product movement across the network by partnering with the Freight Team and co-mans on production releases, COA readiness, and shipment timing. • Support commercialization of new and reformulated products by ensuring co-mans have accurate specifications, BOMs, materials, and packaging requirements ahead of production. • Approve finished good invoices, troubleshoot three-way match issues, and support pricing transitions, credit applications, and RPO-based billing. • Maintain high-level operational reporting, including production dashboards, schedule updates, and co-man performance tracking to support visibility and decision-making. • Ensure audit-ready documentation of production activity, inventory files, and co-man reports to support transparency, traceability, and compliance. Requirements • 2-5 years of experience managing suppliers in a co-manufacturing environment (preferably in a food or drink-based CPG business). • Exposure and understanding of multiple Supply Chain and other business disciplines (Purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, R&D, etc.) in previous positions or project work preferred. • You possess outstanding project management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think creatively. • An authentic leader: direct communicator, proven ability to build enduring professional relationships with internal and external partners, leading to outstanding performance • Sense of urgency and bias for action: a high level of motivation and discipline • Persistent and resourceful: you follow up and keep pushing on open issues until they're resolved. Benefits • Competitive salary & equity • Bonus eligibility • 100% covered Health, Vision, Dental insurance (50% covered for dependents) • 401(k) with company match • Generous parental leave • Flexible vacation • Paid company holidays • Paid sick leave • Catered lunch in office • Dog friendly office • Unlimited cereal ✨ 🥣 What we value: Hold on to the Dream 💫 Adult life shouldn’t be boring, prioritize your work/life balance, we can build a world-class company and have fun doing it Don’t miss the bowl for the loops 🙌 We’re all working towards the same big goals, prioritize collaboration over ego, politics, or possessiveness Be a Fruit Loop in a world of Cheerios 🌈 Bring your whole, unique self to work, celebrate and care for everyone Pour your own milk…and don’t be afraid to spill a little 🥛 We trust you, use your best judgment to make decisions. Mistakes are inevitable, let’s learn from them! No Added Sugar 🥄 We skip the sugarcoating - truth fuels growth, feedback builds muscles, and honest conversation is part of a balanced breakfast. Magic Spoon is committed to building a company that not only represents, but includes, individuals across different backgrounds and perspectives. However, all candidates must be in possession of identification proving authorization to work in the United States, as we are not able to offer sponsorship of Work Visas. All qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
