The technologist will operate advanced imaging equipment, prepare patients for procedures, and collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver timely and reliable diagnostic information. Minimum Qualifications: • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. • Valid state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist. CT Certification required, AART required. • Proficiency in performing X-ray and CT scan procedures. • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection standards. • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting with diverse patient populations. • Familiarity with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and MediTech. • Basic life support (BLS) certification. • Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Responsibilities: • Perform X-ray and CT scan procedures following established protocols to produce clear and accurate diagnostic images. • Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure. • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating routine maintenance as needed. • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review images and ensure diagnostic quality. • Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards. • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self. • Educate patients about the imaging process and answer any questions to alleviate concerns.
