Responsibilities • Prepares the operating room by selecting and opening sterile instruments • Assembles, adjusts, and checks non-sterile equipment • Utilizes sterilizers, lights, suction machines, electrosurgical units, and diagnostic equipment during surgery • Assists with sponge, needle, and other supply counts to track materials used in surgery • Follows the guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality Requirements & Skills • Certification(s): Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required; BLS preferred • Team-oriented and positively contribute to exceptional customer service • Excellent organizational & communication skills • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Employment Details • PRN, Part Time, and Full Time Opportunities available! • Monday – Friday • Must be flexible with hours • Practice Website: http://www.unityhc.com/medical-practices/unity-surgical-center Unity Healthcare, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer
