Full description

About Cyberdrone Cyberdrone is an international pioneer in drone light shows, creating extraordinary visual experiences through proprietary drone technology, in-house engineering, and world-class creative production. With offices across the UAE, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Austria, and Brazil, we've delivered spectacular drone shows across six continents for major events, global brands, festivals, and landmark celebrations. Now, we're expanding into the United States and we're looking for someone who wants to help build something exceptional. Backed by the expertise and resources of an established international company, our new US operation offers the excitement, flexibility, and opportunity of a growing business. The Opportunity We're seeking an experienced and qualified Head Pilot to lead the safe, compliant, and reliable delivery of Cyberdrone's drone show operations across the United States. This is a hands-on technical leadership role with the opportunity to help build our US flight operations from the ground up. You'll oversee flight execution, fleet readiness, aviation compliance, maintenance, and operational safety, while developing the procedures and systems needed to support a growing operation. We're looking for someone technically skilled, highly organized, proactive, and passionate about drone technology. Someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and thrives in a dynamic environment. As Cyberdrone USA expands, there is genuine potential to grow into a broader leadership position, building and managing your own team of pilots. Key Responsibilities • Lead and execute drone show operations, including flight planning, site assessments, rehearsals, and live performances. • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, aviation approvals, and operational safety requirements. • Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, flight manuals, risk assessments, and safety documentation. • Oversee drone fleet readiness, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment inspections. • Maintain accurate flight records, maintenance logs, and operational documentation. • Support warehouse operations, including equipment preparation, inventory management, shipping, and logistics. • Collaborate with international technical and operations teams to maintain consistent operational standards. • Support the training and development of additional pilots as the US business grows. What We're Looking For Essential Qualifications • Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. • Proven professional UAV operating experience, including multi-drone or swarm technology. • Strong understanding of aviation safety, flight operations, and regulatory compliance. • Ability to develop clear SOPs, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation. • Background in aviation, aerospace, UAV technology, or live event production. • Experience with FAA waivers, airspace authorizations, and complex drone operations. • Excellent organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including for training. • Authorization to work in the United States. Highly Desirable • Experience operating large-scale drone light shows. • Previous experience supervising or training drone pilots. What We Offer • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. • Paid show bonus • Medical insurance and paid time off (PTO). • Comprehensive training on Cyberdrone's proprietary technology, potentially including international training. • The opportunity to join at the beginning of our US expansion and directly influence how our flight operations are established and developed. • Genuine career progression potential, including the opportunity to build and lead a growing US pilot team. • A relaxed, supportive, and collaborative working environment built on trust, autonomy, and results, where fresh ideas, initiative, and continuous growth are encouraged without micromanagement. Why Join Cyberdrone? An established international company. A brand-new US market. The opportunity to make your mark. Our culture is built around six core values: We Collab. We Care. We Deliver. We Dare. We Adapt. We Grow. We believe in giving talented people the freedom to take ownership, contribute ideas, and grow professionally while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. We're looking for someone who wants more than their next flying assignment, someone excited to help build a successful US operation and grow alongside it. Join Cyberdrone and help shape the future of drone entertainment in the United States. Learn more: www.cyberdrone.com
