Solar O&M Engineer Department: Operations & Maintenance (O&M)Industry: Solar EPC / Renewable EnergyWork Mode: Field-Based Job Summary Ksquare Energy is looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Solar O&M Engineer to manage solar system maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring while ensuring excellent customer coordination and service satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of solar rooftop installations. • Troubleshoot solar inverters, panels, AC/DC wiring, and electrical systems. • Monitor solar plant performance and resolve generation-related issues. • Coordinate with customers for service requests, site visits, complaints, and timely issue resolution. • Maintain good customer relationships through professional communication, regular follow-ups, and effective problem-solving. • Coordinate with internal teams, technicians, and installation teams to ensure timely service delivery. • Conduct site inspections and prepare service reports and maintenance records. • Handle breakdown maintenance, warranty claims, and equipment replacement coordination. • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures. • Provide technical guidance to customers regarding system operation and basic maintenance. Candidate Requirements • Experience: 6 months to 3 years in Solar O&M, solar service, or electrical maintenance. • Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering preferred. • Strong technical knowledge of solar inverters, rooftop installations, and electrical troubleshooting. • Good customer coordination, communication, and relationship management skills are essential. • Ability to handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution. • Willingness to travel for site visits and field service activities. • A two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
