Chairs weekly Interdisciplinary Outlier Committee, and communicates with physicians, Case Management Director, and Administration about patient needs. • Manages hospital Utilization Management Program by coordinating Utilization Plan changes with Medical Director and administration, co-chairing Utilization Management Committee, and collecting and reporting Performance Improvement data to Performance Improvement Committee and Utilization Management Committee. • Ensures department staff are managed effectively, including hiring, training, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed. • Applies state, federal and other regulatory agencies functions and standards. • Reports to the assigned leader. • This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
