Schedule: Part-time (24 hours/week), Night shift, rotating weekend requirement Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative and clinical oversight for hospital operations during assigned shifts. • Serve as a resource and leader for nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary departments. • Coordinate patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, and throughput initiatives. • Support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards across the hospital. • Respond to critical situations, facilitate problem resolution, and ensure continuity of care. • Foster a collaborative and patient-centered culture that aligns with IU Health's mission and values. • Assist with coaching, mentoring, and supporting nursing team members. Qualifications: • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) required or relevant experience. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. • Clinical Specialty Professional Certification preferred. • Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience. • Previous leadership experience preferred. • Critical care experience preferred.
