About Our Family We’re a busy, active family of six with three kids at home, all involved in sports, one in college, and our lovable 100-pound dog! With one parent running multiple businesses and the other managing the day-to-day rhythm of family life, there’s always something happening. We’re also in an exciting season of preparing to transition into a new home and looking forward to creating systems that help everything run smoothly. We have an established support team, including a housekeeper and occasional organizational help, and are excited to welcome a dedicated House Manager who can take ownership of household operations and grow with us long-term. Our hope is to find someone who can help lighten the mental load, taking those never-ending to-do lists out of our heads and turning them into solutions. We prioritize healthy living, primarily gluten-free meals, and fresh, organic ingredients. Above all, we value a thoughtful, proactive professional who brings organization, efficiency, and a calm presence to our home. We envision this as a long-term partnership with room to grow and evolve, potentially expanding into support for our family businesses down the road if there's mutual interest. Who You Are / What We're Looking For You’re a resourceful, highly organized self-starter who loves creating order and making life easier for our family. You naturally anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and take pride in keeping a household running seamlessly behind the scenes. You understand that the greatest value you bring is taking things off our plates before we even have to ask, helping us spend less time managing the details and more time enjoying family life. You're a strong communicator who knows when to check in and when to take initiative without needing constant direction. You’re detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable juggling a variety of responsibilities, from coordinating vendors and managing household systems to jumping in for light meal prep during a particularly busy week. Above all, you bring a warm, professional presence and are excited to build a lasting relationship with our family where your role can evolve alongside our needs, with potential opportunities to take on business-related responsibilities in the future. Key Responsibilities Household Organization & Maintenance • Perform daily resets and prepare the home ahead of cleaner visits • Create, implement, and maintain household organizational systems • Manage home maintenance tasks such as replacing batteries, light bulbs, and filters • Maintain humidifiers and air purifiers • Conduct seasonal clothing, decor and bedding swaps • Assist with event, holiday, and guest preparation • Packing and unpacking for family travel • Maintain indoor plants Inventory & Errands • Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies • Manage running household supply lists • Manage household subscriptions and orders, including Amazon and Thrive Market accounts • Handle returns, dry cleaning drop-off, & returns • Mail and package management, and breaking down boxes Laundry & Linens • Wash, fold, hang, and put away laundry; steam garments as needed • Read and follow garment care labels, with careful attention to delicate items • Manage the dry cleaning basket and coordinate drop-offs and pick-ups • Oversee linen rotation schedule in coordination with the housekeeper Vendor & Property Oversight • Serve as the point person for cleaners and all other vendors including scheduling • Research & coordinate repairs and quotes • Provide a light refresh to outdoor spaces if necessary Family Support • Calendar management, including school, household, and activity schedules • Event and appointment coordination • Potential for increase in light administrative support over time Meal Support • Plan weekly meals aligned with a gluten-free, largely organic diet • Grocery shopping and/or managing grocery delivery, including sourcing from farmers markets • Prep work approximately 3 days per week: washing, chopping, marinating proteins, comfortable preparing slow cooker or batch meals, during especially busy seasons that fluctuate • Prepare school lunches • Light kitchen clean-up and maintenance Pet Care • Occasional feeding, walking, and letting the dog out during the day as needed • Schedule and transport to groomer or vet • Maintain pet supply orders Vehicle Upkeep • Coordinate maintenance scheduling for family vehicles • Track registration and insurance across multiple vehicles • Assist with fueling, cleaning, and organizing vehicles as needed Deep Cleaning & Special Projects • Occasional deep cleaning tasks (refrigerator, oven, baseboards) as needed; otherwise delegated to the housekeeper • Assist with organizational projects on a seasonal or as-needed basis How to Apply Please submit a short intro letter, an updated resume, and 3 professional references with contact information. Please note that this role requires a background check.
