Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Driver Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. • Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures. • Maintain required armed-post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, company policy, and site requirements. Minimum Requirements: • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
