As a Senior Software Engineer on our Market Access team, you will design and develop high-performance systems that drive our trading capabilities. Your future role within QRT • Build high-performance, low-latency C++ applications for trading. • Work with traders, FPGA engineers, DevOps, and other teams to create seamless solutions. • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews, debugging, and optimization. • Lead discussions on system design, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals. • Partner with system administrators and network engineers to optimize deployments. • Mentor team members in best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development processes. Your Present Skillset • Experience in C++ development (C++11/14/17/20), and multi threaded, high-performance applications on Linux. • Demonstrated experience in system-level architecture design for trading or other performance-critical environments. • Strong understanding of low-latency techniques, system profiling, and tuning • Previous experience as a people manager or technical lead, demonstrate examples of leading engineers on different projects • Familiarity with advanced debugging tools and performance analysis techniques. • Understanding of financial products and trading systems is preferred.
