Overview Doyle Security Services (DSS) is seeking a dependable, observant, and safety-conscious Safety Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and clients. The successful candidate will monitor the premises, identify potential safety hazards, enforce established safety procedures, and respond appropriately to emergencies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a professional and safe workplace Safety Officer Wages starting at $22.00 per hour, higher wages for leadership roles. Schedule Various Schedules Available (Morning, Evening, and Overnights including weekends) Pay Range Up to USD $22.00/Hr. Responsibilities • Conduct routine inspections and patrols to identify potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions. • Monitor assigned areas to ensure compliance with established safety policies and procedures. • Identify, report, and document accidents, incidents, hazards, and safety violations. • Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services, management, and other designated personnel as necessary. • Assist with emergency evacuation procedures, drills, and other safety-related activities. • Maintain accurate incident reports, inspection records, and daily activity logs. • Ensure that emergency exits, fire extinguishers, alarm systems, and other safety equipment remain accessible and unobstructed. • Communicate safety concerns promptly to the appropriate supervisor or client representative. • Promote awareness of workplace safety practices and encourage compliance with applicable procedures. • Perform other safety-related duties as assigned Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Military or law enforcement experience preferred. • Previous experience in safety, security, loss prevention, facilities, or a related field preferred. • Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to recognize potential hazards and respond calmly and appropriately to emergencies. • Ability to prepare clear, accurate written reports. • Professional demeanor and the ability to interact effectively with employees, visitors, and management. • Ability to stand, walk, and conduct patrols for extended periods, as required by the assignment. • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures and supervisory direction. • Required licenses, certifications, or safety training will be provided Benefits • Medical • Vision • Dental • 401K • Referral Bonuses • Paid Time Off (PTO) • Life Insurance (at no cost for the employee) EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability Doyle Security Services, In. is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.
