We are immediately hiring for the Castle Shannon area of Pittsburgh, PA . The Maternal Health Specialist works to assist mothers with: • scheduling and attending well-baby appointments • assess infant and women care and home supports • monitor infant developmental stages • offer guidance, education and referrals to parents, as appropriate, to achieve positive support outcomes • check in through the home visiting program. The Maternal Health Specialist Home Visitor position includes driving to the family home for check in visits using an Agency Vehicle. Topics discussed are: expectant mother and newborn baby health, education, nutrition, child growth and development, postpartum wellness, and well-baby follow-ups. In addition, the full-time roles provide case management documentation and reports for the MCO's and supervisors.
