Graff Orthodontics in Farmington, NM, is growing, and we are looking for a dual-role teammate who loves both the numbers and the patients. As our Financial Coordinator and Backup Treatment Coordinator, you will keep our patient accounts running smoothly and step in to guide families through their orthodontic journey whenever our Treatment Coordinator needs you.
This is a great fit if you are organized, personable, and energized by a busy orthodontic practice where no two days look the same.
Financial Coordination

• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and families about their balances and payment options
• Track patient account reports and collections on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Spot account discrepancies and opportunities to improve patient billing and collection processes
Backup Treatment Coordination
• Act as the liaison between patients and the Orthodontist to review treatment needs and guide patients through scheduling
• Coordinate patient treatment plans and ensure alignment with referring dentists
• Confidently present treatment plans and financial options, build trust, and help patients say yes and move forward with treatment
• Foster a welcoming, lasting relationship with every new patient and family from the very first visit
• Maintain a treatment conversion rate of 75% or higher
• Follow up consistently with pending patients who have not yet started treatment, keeping them engaged until they move forward
• Schedule and confirm appointments, and coordinate orthodontic treatment and necessary referrals
• Review consent forms, financial documents, and other paperwork to ensure they are properly signed
• Answer patient questions and ease concerns in person, by phone, and by email
Required
• Minimum of one year of experience in an orthodontic office
• Impressive leadership skills and a relationship-oriented approach: you build trust with patients, families, and teammates
• Confident in conducting sales, with a sales-driven mindset and strong communication skills: you build trust with patients and help them move forward with their treatment plans
• Excellent telephone skills and a pleasant, courteous, and helpful demeanor
• Highly detail-oriented, with strong organization and time management skills, and a great spirit for multitasking in a fast-paced environment with changing deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Professional, dependable, and knowledgeable about orthodontic treatment and timelines
Schedule
• Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday hours vary
If you are a relationship-oriented, detail-driven leader who loves multitasking, we would love for you to apply. Combine your financial skills with your passion for patient care and help create great smiles with the Graff Orthodontics team.
