Position Overview Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT’s) monitor and assist adolescent clients in the residential milieu, lead activities designed to help the residents adjust to living in a community setting and assist the residents in gaining the skills needed to manage their eating disorder. BHT’s play an integral role in the day-to-day function of the clients’ experience. Schedule • Full Time 0.8 FTE (32 hours per week) focused on Day & Evening shifts • Day Shifts: 6am-2:30pm, 8am-4pm • Evening Shifts: 2pm-10:30pm, 4pm-12:30am • Every other weekend required (Saturday & Sunday) • Schedule is made a month at a time with a combination of both day and evening shifts Compensation Disclosure • BHT I: Starting hourly range between $18.00-$22.00 Final Compensation offered will be within pay range based on qualifications/experience met for the position How BHT’s Empower Recovery • Partners with the multi-disciplinary team on care plan and treatment, assisting in admissions, supporting or assisting clients in programming • Participates in therapeutic meals and snacks and provides support during structured outings and recreation • Available to engage, challenge, and support residents as needed. Reports observations and documents in charts • Monitors and supports bathroom use per client treatment direction. Monitors and documents exercise. • Responsible for enforcing appropriate policies with residents and completing all expected tasks including hourly room-checks Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED required with one year of Mental health experience or • Bachelors degree in Mental health field with 0-1 year of experience • Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive • Previous direct mental health experience preferred What we offer: Employee Benefits: We understand the importance of a well-rounded benefits package.
