Department: Public Works Grade: 230 Salary: $29.84/hour Job Duties: • Manages functions including timekeeping, human resources activities, inventories for fleet and operations, and reports; coordinates building/groundskeeping needs and repairs. • On call 24/7 for inclement weather and emergencies; researches training opportunities for operations, fleet, and administrative staff, and recommends training to management; assists with the annual road program, ice and snow removal, and annual work plan. • Coordinates operations within the department and ensures requests for service is investigated; visits jobsites during construction season; and is liaison for the department dealing with internal and external customers and stakeholders. • Responsible for assisting in the preparation of an annual budget for procurement of goods and services for the department. Minimum Qualifications: • Associate's Degree or the equivalent.
