We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Strategic Business Solutions team in our Andover, Providence or Boston offices on a flexible hybrid basis. Job Responsibilities: • Act as the key client contact for assigned engagements. • Perform reviews and compilation engagements for various industries. • Prepare federal, and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. • Perform tax planning for clients for year-end, including tax provisions, projections, and extensions. • Act as a resource for less experienced associates and team members. Delegate work and supervise staff to meet deadlines as well as other metrics. • Prepare bills and discuss fees with assigned clients. • Establish good working relationships with all Partners, Managers and staff members. • Assist with special projects and manage various tasks at hand Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required for this job. Job Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Master’s degree, CPA/EA license or active pursuit of higher education or credentials is highly preferred • 7+ years of experience in public accounting, 2+ years of managerial experience highly preferred • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Possess a strong working knowledge of Profx Tax; Profx Engagement; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Word; and QuickBooks • Knowledge of BNA Tax, and Profx Fixed Assets preferred, but training is available • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stated deadlines • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment and exercise sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information. We are looking for a candidate to work full time. Normal hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with increased hours during our peak seasons: January through April and August through October. These periods require increasing normal weekly hours, which includes weekends.
