Position: Secondary History Teacher Classification: Long-term Sub (January 19 – June 4, 2027) Reports To: Secondary Principal About Us: Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ. Position Summary: Lenawee Christian School is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered Secondary History Teacher who is excited to disciple students through engaging instruction and biblical integration. The ideal candidate will help students understand and interpret historical events through a Christian worldview, cultivating critical thinking and a love for truth. Key Responsibilities: • Teach high school history courses, which may include U.S. History, World History, Government, or other related subjects • Develop lesson plans that foster inquiry-based learning, promote student engagement, and integrate biblical principles • Encourage thoughtful discussion and critical analysis of historical events and their impact on today’s world • Support the mission of the school through godly mentorship and participation in extra-curricular activities and student ministry groups Qualifications: Christian Faith: • Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. • Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.
