Manage accounting and finance functions for Robar Enterprises, Inc. The Controller will be responsible in managing all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analysis. The Controller must be defined by a focus on execution, strong bias for action, decisiveness, a sense of urgency, and problem solve and plan. Responsibilities • Present monthly financial reports to executive team • Assess, execute and streamline policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies • Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals • Lead the operations of finance, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable/collections, and in-house payroll • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor on a monthly basis • Be a part of the executive team, and ensure that company-wide operations are efficient and effective. • Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual • Handle monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis Requirements • Prior work in accounting with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. • Self-starter and strong ethical standards • Outstanding communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written. • Financial analysis experience • Command of financial statement preparation • Budget forecasting experience • 5 years management experience minimum • Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strong knowledge/practice of Advanced Excel • Experienced in Software implementation • Experience using EPICOR preferred • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related field • CPA or MBA preferred • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment • Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations • Advanced knowledge of GAAP and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations • Be detailed, flexible, and organized Job Type: Full-time Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision and EAP) • Life insurance • Paid time off Education: Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Accounting: 5 years (Required) Work Location: Hesperia, California (one location) Work Remotely: No
