Location: Huntington, WV area (onsite) Type: Permanent · Full time · Rotating shifts An industrial equipment and service company is hiring an Industrial Electrician to maintain heavy rolling mill equipment at a steel plant. The drives and controls run on Siemens, so Siemens experience moves you to the front of the line. Direct hire, with benefits and steady long-term work. What you'll do • Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC mill stand drives, MCCs, VFDs and transformers • Keep instrumentation working: encoders, load cells, pyrometers and other sensors • Support Siemens PLC automation and control systems • Respond to electrical faults and carry out preventive maintenance • Work from schematics and wiring diagrams alongside controls and mechanical crews What you bring • Industrial electrical maintenance at 480V three-phase and above, including MCCs, motors and drives • VFD or large drive troubleshooting experience • NFPA 70E arc flash training and LOTO proficiency • Steel, aluminum rolling or heavy industrial background strongly preferred • Openness to rotating shifts, and reliable transportation to a site outside Huntington Nice to have: Siemens TIA Portal / S7 experience (lead with it), journeyman license (WV or reciprocal).
