Pathlink is seeking an Experienced Pathology Assistant to work part time at Memorial Medical Center in La Cruces, New Mexico. Join our pathology team at Pathlink. We are seeking a detail-oriented Pathologist Assistant to support our pathologists in a collaborative high-quality laboratory enviroment. Responsibilities: • Assist with gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens • Process, label and document tissue specimens • Submit tissue for histologic examination • Maintain accurate records and comply with safety and quality standards Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field required • PA (ASCP) certification preferred. • Previous pathology, histology, or laboratory experience preferred • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
