Fox Chase Hospital | Pennsylvania PPE is seeking a qualified Per Diem Hospitalist for Fox Chase to provide overnight coverage when full-time hospitalists are on vacation or otherwise unavailable. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking flexible per diem shifts in a hospital setting. Duties & Responsibilities • Provide overnight hospitalist coverage for admitted patients. • Evaluate and manage patients requiring inpatient medical care. • Handle approximately 0–3 admissions per night. • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care. • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status. • Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. • Complete accurate and timely medical documentation. • Ensure continuity of care and appropriate handoffs to the daytime hospitalist team. Qualifications • MD or DO with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine training. • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, as applicable. • Active Pennsylvania medical license. • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hospital environment.
