POSITION OVERVIEW • Immediate opening for a compassionate, skilled Registered Nurse in a hospital OB department known for exceptional, family-centered care • Provide comprehensive nursing support and collaborate closely with a dedicated care team to keep every patient experience safe, dignified, and deeply human • Join a community hospital committed to outstanding, comprehensive healthcare delivered locally with compassion • As part of a flexible nursing workforce, support other hospital departments as needed to meet patient care demands WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY STANDS OUT • Full-time night shift position with immediate openings • Family-centered OB team focused on safe, dignified care • ADN-prepared nurses welcome to apply • BLS, NRP, ACLS, and fetal monitoring certifications may be completed after hire • Make a real difference for families in a local community hospital SCHEDULE & PRACTICE MODEL • Full time, night shift • 72 hours per pay period • Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation • Hospital OB department • Floats to other hospital departments as needed CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide individualized patient- and family-focused care throughout the patient's stay, anticipating changes in care needs • Evaluate patient assessments and responses to interventions and take appropriate action according to established standards • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and competence in required registered nurse competencies, including thorough knowledge of medications administered • Assess labor progression and manage induction of labor and cervical ripening • Perform fetal heart monitoring and neonatal assessments • Recognize and manage neonatal sepsis • Manage obstetric emergencies, including prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, and placental abruption COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Compensation and benefits details shared during your recruiter conversation Requirements • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) REQUIRED • Current Wisconsin RN license REQUIRED • BLS certification within 3 months of hire REQUIRED • NRP certification within 6 months of hire REQUIRED • ACLS certification within 1 year of hire REQUIRED • Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification within 2 years of hire REQUIRED • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred • OB experience preferred
