Tasks & Responsibilities • Set up and operate CNC grinding machines. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and quality specifications. • Perform wheel mounting, dressing, and balancing activities. • Load, edit, and run CNC grinding programs. • Monitor grinding parameters and optimize cycle times. • Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments. • Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements. • Perform routine machine maintenance and TPM activities. • Follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. • Report machine, tooling, or quality issues to the supervisor. Profile & Requirements • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. • 2-5 years of experience in CNC cylindrical grinding operations preferred. • Experience in precision component manufacturing is an advantage. • Experience operating or similar CNC cylindrical grinding machines. • Knowledge of external, internal, and universal grinding processes. • Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T. • Proficient in using micrometres, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments. • Understanding of grinding wheels, dressing methods, and machining parameters.
