Job Details: Job Location: Convalescent Center - Nespelem, WA, Salary Range: $24.75 - $25.37Hourly, CLOSING DATE:     Open Until filled with Bi-weekly reviews POSITION:               CTHCA Cook Senior (MB49661) SALARY:                  $24.75-$25.37 per hour, DOE REPORTS TO:         Food Services Manager LOCATION:              CTCC, Nespelem, WA Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High School Diploma or GED. One year Long Term Care cooking experience required. Food Handlers care within 5 days of employment is required. Knowledge of safe and proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices. Ability to read, write, and understand the English language. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to process diet changes and new diet orders as received the Nursing department. Must successfully clear a criminal history background inquiry with BCCU that indicates no felony or conviction on the DSHS Secretary’s List of Crimes and Negative Actions. Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing. TRIBAL MEMBER AND INDIAN PREFERENCE WILL APPLY; PREFERENCE WILL ALSO BE GIVEN TO HONORABLY DISCHARGED VETERANS WHO ARE MINIMALLY QUALIFIED.
